I bought a ticket from Dusseldorf, but Ryanair flights from an airport called Weeze, an hour driving from Dusseldorf, and still sells it online as Dusseldorf (although it's closer to Cologne/Bonn). After paying for a $100 taxi to get to Weeze from Dusseldorf airport, and arriving 45min before the flight left, I was told check-in was closed. Ryanair demands the passenger prints the check-in at home, four hours before plane departure, otherwise you miss your flight. And clearly all of this is explained in the 10 page conditions I was supposed to read before buying my ticket, so it is my fault - what a scam.
